Farzan 25 kW Rooftop Solar Power Plant

In this project, it was initially planned to utilize inverters manufactured by the client and to install a solar power plant with a capacity of 130 kW. However, due to the failure to obtain the required permit from the relevant regional electricity authority, it was decided to implement an off-grid solar power plant with a capacity of 25 kW for essential uses, installed on the rooftop of the Farzan Fan-Andish Farda factory warehouse. The main scope of work for this project included the installation of solar panels and MC4 connectors, excavation of the grounding pit, establishment and bonding of the grounding network for the structures and panels, and DC cabling up to the location designated by the client.

In accordance with the client’s requirement to achieve a grounding resistance of below 2 ohms, comprehensive soil testing was conducted, and the grounding pit depth (9 meters) along with resistance-reducing materials were implemented accordingly, resulting in a final grounding resistance of 1.4 ohms.
